Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE YOU REQUEST A TUTOR OR REGISTER AS A TUTOR. YOU ARE DEEMED TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF YOU PROCEED. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST OR REGISTER.

ELIGIBILITY

• Tutors must be a Malaysia citizen, have minimum academic qualifications and good grades in the subjects that they wish to teach.
• Tutors/teachers must provide their own transportation to travel to student’s house.

APPLYING FOR JOBS

• Before applying for any job, read carefully and thoroughly the details stated especially the location, subject, rate, duration, day/time and the remarks. If tutors cannot meet the requirements, or do not agree with the requirements, please do not apply.
• Tutors are NOT allowed to increase the rate stated in our tuition job post without informing us. If tutors do not agree on the tuition rate stated in the job, tutors must inform us their required rate to conduct the class. We will inform the parents tutors’ required rate and update the tutors based on parents’ decision.
• Please note that tutors should only accept our offer and confirm to take the tuition class if tutors are serious. If tutors change their mind after we have recommended them to the parents, only 50% of commission paid to us will be refunded.
• Any attempt to cheat or deprive Faith Home Tuition of its legal share of commission, will result in legal actions being taken.

REQUEST FOR TUTOR

• There is no registration fee or any hidden charges applied.
• Parents are NOT allowed to decrease the budget rate after confirmation of tutor. If parents wish to negotiate with tutor, we will inform the tutors parents’ budget rate and update accordingly.
• If parent/student changes their mind in terminating the class right after we have connected them with tutors, a minimal fee will be imposed on parents for the coordination effort and services we have provided. Changing of tutor is an exception.
• Any attempt to cheat or deprive Faith Home Tuition of its legal share of tutor’s commission, will result in legal actions being taken.

COMMISSION & REFUND POLICIES

• Advance 2 weeks tuition fees or 50% of one month tuition fees should be paid as commission to agency for hiring tutors by parents or commit any jobs posted by tutors. The subsequent months 100% of tuition fees pay directly to tutors.
• Full commission must be paid upfront before we connect both parent and tutor.
• Commission paid will be fully refunded to tutors if class is cancelled by parents/students within the first month.
• No commission will be refunded to tutors if class is cancelled by parents/students after first month from the class commencement.

CANCELLATION OF CLASS

• In the event when tutors are unable to attend the tuition, a prior notice of 48 hours before the lesson starts, must be given to the students/parents.
• A valid reason must also be given on notification. Tutors will be excused if the students/parents accept their explanation.

DATA PRIVACY

• The tutors’ information collected will be kept confidential by us. The information provided by tutors will be given to them if the parent feels that they need extra information about tutors. 

DISCLAIMER

• We are not liable for conflict or disagreements between the tutors and parents. We are also not responsible for any form of damage caused in connection of tutors/parents use to our website.
• Tutors/parents are solely responsible for the information provided to us. We shall not be liable for any misrepresentation, fraud, or inaccuracies of information provided by you.
• The entire risk as to the quality, accuracy, adequacy, completeness, correctness and validity of any material rests with tutors/parents. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, Faith Home Tuition, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and representatives, will not be liable for damages of any kind including, without limitation, compensatory, consequential, incidental, indirect, special or similar damages, that may result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials contained on this site whether the material is provided or otherwise supplied by tutors/parents.
• We reserve the right to add, modify or delete any information on this website at any time without notice.
